Ustadha Umm Nour Asma
Ustadha Umm Nour Asma is the most senior teacher at EUD Academy. Born and raised in Egypt, she studied at Al-Azhar University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic and Arabic Studies, followed by a Master’s degree in Rhetoric (Balāghah) and Literary Criticism.
Ustadh Umm Nour has memorized the entire Qur’an, holds Ijāzah in the Ten Qirā’āt, and has studied and received authorization in numerous classical Islamic texts. With deep grounding in traditional scholarship, she teaches Tafsīr and Balāghah, Al-Ājurrūmiyyah (ʿIlm an-Naḥw – Arabic Grammar), and Fiqh, guiding students with clarity, depth, and a nurturing approach.
Ustadha Umm Nour follows the methodology of Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jamā‘ah, in accordance with the understanding of the Salaf aṣ-Ṣāliḥīn.
Ustadha Umm Eesa Zara
Ustadha Umm Eesa Zara has a strong foundation in Qur’anic and Islamic studies, combined with formal training in Education and Counselling. She studied Ta‘leem ul Qur’an at Al Huda International Institute, where she completed studies in Word-to-Word Qur’an Translation, Tafsir, Tajweed, Seerah, and Fiqh al-‘Ibaadah.
Ustadha Umm Eesa continues to deepen her understanding of the Qur’an through ongoing tafsir studies under Ustadha Umm Nour, our Senior Ustadha. In addition, she is a Certified Master Coach who integrates coaching, educational, and counseling methodologies into her teaching. This approach helps students not only understand the Qur’an intellectually, but also apply its guidance practically in their daily lives, fostering meaningful and lasting change.
Ustadha Mariam Al-Johany
Ustadha Mariam Al-Johany is a graduate of Al-Azhar University and has memorized the entire Qur’an, holds Ijāzah in Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim. She has five years of experience teaching Qur’an, Tajwīd, Islamic Studies, and the Arabic language to both adults and children. She is highly experienced in adapting lessons to diverse age groups and learning levels, and is skilled in teaching non-Arabic speakers through clear, structured, and simplified methods.
